We love getting outside with our dogs. But carrying all the little things like poo bags, treats, water, and bowls can make it feel like a chore. When I first started dog sitting and wanted to go on a hike, I packed everything into a running vest but soon realized it was tight, hard to take on and off, and honestly kind of annoying.

I looked around for better options and realized most pet gear was made for the dog. Which makes sense. But it seemed like not much was designed to make life easier for us.

So I started building my own. A modular system where you can mix and match what you need, and skip what you don’t. A better poo bag holder that carries an emergency spare. Waterproof leashes that rinse clean after a muddy trail run. Gear that actually makes life with a dog easier. And maybe a little more exciting too.

We started Muddy Buddies because we believe the best moments aren’t the ones you plan. They’re the ones where your dog dives into the ocean or rolls in a pile of leaves, and you can’t help but laugh, even if you’re soaked too.

Our mission is to make gear that helps you chase more of those moments. Gear that’s built for the trail, the beach, the city, and everything in between. Thoughtfully designed. Easy to use. Good-looking without trying too hard.

We’re not here to tell you how to be a dog parent. We’re here to make it feel a little more seamless, and a lot more fun.
